Meet the Team #2 – Amy Jo and Kelly

This will be Amy’s first Ragnar Relay with us. She came highly recommended by Matt ‘Chappy’ Herald and Amanda Herald who thought she’d be a great fit.

In her own words:

“Growing up I was a gymnast, soccer player, and cheerleader. After college I hit the gym to maintain my fitness. I ran my first race at the inaugural Fort for Fitness 4 mile race in 2008. Since then I usually average about 10 races per year. I’ve also participated in various mud/obstacle and ‘themed’ races as well. Though I have ran distances of 5K, 10k, 15k, 20k, and 1/2 marathons, I prefer 5 & 10Ks. My motto is get it done and move on to the next thing! Lol

I’m always up for a challenge and like to try new things. I’m looking forward to the Ragnar to see what all the hype is about. I’m sure it will be something I’ll never forget!”

Kelly joined the team in 2018 and we’ve enjoyed her enthusiasm ever since for both the fundraising and running sides of what we do and she did an amazing job of both last year.

This year, she has already tackled the Indy Mini with Matt and Amanda, which should position her well for added mileage this fall at Ragnar Michigan.
